Vets Honored at Brickyard 400
Through the efforts of the people behind the National Desert Storm Memorial initiative, veterans of Operation Desert Storm and Desert Shield were honored during the opening ceremony of this year’s Brickyard 400 on July 31. In addition, veterans who wore their wartime military attire received two free tickets to the race.
We are thrilled that the Indianapolis Motor Speedway honored our veterans in recognition of the 20th Anniversary of the 1991 war. We will continue to pursue other ways for our veterans to be honored in such special ways.
